Pastor Sharon Green

At the tender age of 9, Pastor Sharon Green heard the call of God. One of 10 siblings, He called her as a set apart vessel for the Master’s use. In 1997, she surrendered to the Lord completely to be used as his holy vessel to usher people into the kingdom of God. He began using her in the gifts of Prophecy, Discernment, Helps and in the Word of Knowledge to minister to His people.

Pastor Sharon Green has served in various areas of ministry. She served as the Praise and Worship Leader, President of the Women’s Department, Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary, Administrator, and worked in the Outreach and Prison Ministry.

In June of 1999 Pastor Sharon Green received her Missionary’s license. She holds an Associate of Science and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. Professionally, Sharon Green has been a Manager in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years. She retired in 1997 from Verizon Telecommunications.

In 2006, Pastor Sharon Green’s life took another dramatic turn when Bishop Charles Blake appointed her as Pastor of Higher Praise C.O.G.I.C. In addition to serving as Pastor of the north location. On the State level, she works as the Funding Initiative Chairperson in Southern California First Jurisdiction Women's Convention and is a member of the Business and Professional Women.

She is the Founder and Executive Director of Victor Valley Family Resource Center (VVFRC), the 501(C)3 Resource Center of Higher Praise Tabernacle. VVFRC provides Emergency Shelter, Transitional and Shared housing for those experiencing homelessness, Mental Health Counseling, Substance Abuse Intervention, Case Management, Job readiness training. Life Skills, with Rent, Mortgage, Utilities, as well as grocery distribution services for San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties. Sharon Green is the elected Chair of the San Bernardino County Homeless Partnership Network, the Co-Chair of the High Desert Regional Steering Committee, and a board member of San Bernardino County Interagency Council on Homelessness the legislative body of Homeless Partnership Network, strategizing to end homelessness.
Pastor Green is the proud wife of Pastor Christopher Green. They are the parents of six adult children, Monique, Salisa, Christopher Jr., David, Charles “Alan”, and Shana Haver. They are also the grandparents of 11 grandchildren.

She is dedicated to serving and encouraging those in her community, and the people of God at large. She has been especially called to minister to women in distress. She earnestly desires to do the perfect will of God, and be an example for all to see. Her prayer is that every soul that she meets will be compelled to come to salvation for the glory of God.
